Asters, daisies, water-crowfoot…you may want to search for pictures of common wildflowers. Cheers. Love the video!
Rob, I have another question please. When using a tripod is it necessary to switch of the Auto Stabilisation? I’ve always read the any stabilisation should be switched off when using a tripod but so far I’ve never noticed and problem when I’ve used Auto Stabilisation.
I prefer shooting on gloomy colder overcast days and have a hard time motivating myself to shoot when the weather is severe clear. These tutorials are great motivation to try something outside my usual. Thanks Rob.
I find this videa serie much interesting but I don’t think I grasped the mechanics of manual flash setting: could you please explain how you chose a certain flash power in various situations? Is it just experience or is there a guideline? Could you add this part when you review the new off camera flash you were talking about in this video? Thanks!
Wonderful series. Like Ansel says: You don’t take pictures…You Make them…!
Creativity gets Better and Better Rob…! Story, Tutorial, Pictures, Composition and…Grrreat Contrast…!
Now go shoot in the streets with these settings and mindset…
Oh and some for your Real Estate…as teasers…! I dare you…!
I think a local exhibition soon, is possible.
Flowers may have a name, yes, but here they talk picture language…!
Here they are powerful elements in the image.
Are you going closer…? so close, it becomes pure abstracts…?!
Makes me really happy for you, to see your results…from "the Hands onwards.
Spring Greetings my friend. All the best.
I’ve been watching your channel for a month or so now . You have a straight forward and easy way of explaining details . I mainly shoot film with my OM Olympus gear , but when I do shoot digital ( Em-1 or Ep-5 ) And need some advice on different operations of the camera I go to you . Thanks .
As I said before, your photos are fantastic. I always blamed myself for not having top of the line gear. After seeing your videos, it is just talent. I have learned more from your videos than the past 30+ years of taking photos. Thanks for all your tips and keep it up. I have had my EM10ii for almost a year and I can now see what a great piece of equipment it is.
I really need to get myself a flash to try these techniques. Thanks for another good video Rob.
You’re on a roll. You have helped me start making some great photographs since I got my E-M10ii a month ago. I have been out shooting almost every day for a month and doing so with confidence now because of your guides and tips. You have been the best tool to have for this camera. Thank you, again.
Another nice video. Have you done a tutorial on saving custom settings. I would like to know how to save yoyr B&W settings to a MySet and recall them later. I tried in once on my EM10 v2 but I must have done something wrong as I could not load up the settings I thought I had saved.
Really good that you do a lot of tutorials with the entry level camera instead of the flag ship models.
Great video again. But Rob i just saw a guy say its fine to use a DSLR flash on your mirrorless cameea and nothing will happen except you will not have ttl.Is this really advisable as i thought it will fry you contact points and maybe the camera?
So interested in a collab of some sort : ) ?
Apologies Rob. I’ve just noticed that you are using IS Auto.
Really helpful tips thank you.
