Creative Floral Photography with Harold Davis
Creative Floral Photography with Harold Davis
Join us for an exciting session as Harold Davis shows how he uses Topaz plug-ins to enhance his well-known botanical photos. Harold will demonstrate his full workflow, from photo to finished art, incorporating Topaz Adjust, Impression and Simplify, and how he uses the plug-ins both as tools and endless creative opportunities.
Recorded July 21, 2015
Would have been better to show a video of Harold actually doing this, rather than showing the final result and talking about how to get it done. So it’s not very useful and not what I go to YouTube for, which tends to be hands-on demos that are more practical.

Excellent sir!
could not find wood cut filter in my version of Simplify… I have "wood carving" but not wood cut.
sorry this is boring
He buzzed right through this! It felt like he didn’t really want to be doing this video. Maybe that’s how he normally is, but I didn’t care for his teaching style at all.
40min video to tell you how to take a pic of flowers on a white background lol

As a long time Harold Davis fan, especially for black and white photography, I was very interested in seeing how he used Topaz products–my favorite plug-ins. As in his books, Harold didn’t disappoint me. Thank you Topaz and Harold for sharing!
awesome info on every topic addressed- photography and set-up , post-processing, software by topazlabs, photoshop- and unique approach to flower photography- congratulations to presenter (and his books, courses, etc are all wonderful too- ck out his website etc etc) and all topazlabs products and team members are fabulous! these webinars are invaluable!
Someone posted that the video was boring…unique, long, but not boring. Like he said part photography, part creativity.
Not for me though.
